MS Dhoni set to travel with squad to Lucknow for LSG vs CSK IPL 2026 match: Reports

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) wicket-keeper MS Dhoni is expected to travel to Lucknow with the rest of the squad for their upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 clash against the Rishabh Pant-led LSG side. The contest is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 15, at the Ekana Stadium as the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side aim to remain alive in the playoffs race.

MS Dhoni has not featured in a single match in the ongoing campaign so far due to a calf injury. While he was entirely absent for the initial matches, he started travelling with the team for their away matches against the likes of Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) midway through the season.

However, reports implied that he aggravated his injury while trying to make a comeback, while some suggested that he does not wish to hamper the current combination of the side that has delivered results. As a result, he was not a part of CSK’s recent trip to the Arun Jaitley Stadium, where they secured an eight-wicket win.
