Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ace pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar continued his purple patch with the ball in the IPL 2026 clash against Mumbai Indians (MI) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday, May 10. The medium pacer dismissed a well-set Tilak Varma, chopped for 57, to bag his fourth wicket of the night.

The dismissal came in the 18th over of MI’s innings and the last ball of Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s final spell in the match. The 36-year-old bowled a yorker, and Tilak went for a scoop shot but couldn’t get fully underneath the ball. The left-hander managed an inside edge that deflected onto the stumps.

While Rohit Sharma and Deepak Chahar looked disappointed with the wicket in the dugout, Virat Kohli was pumped up as he celebrated the wicket with the senior pacer.
